The Voice Romania(2011)

The Voice Romania is a reality singing competition that debuted in September 2011, based on the international format created by Dutch producer John de Mol. The show centers on blind auditions where four coaches—Smiley, Horia Brenciu, Irina Rimes, and Tudor Chirila—evaluate contestants by voice alone, unable to see the performers. Each coach leads a team of selected talents through training and mentorship, occasionally performing alongside them. Pavel Bartoș hosts the competition. The format prioritizes raw vocal ability, with established Romanian artists serving as judges who guide emerging singers toward developing their craft and stage presence.
