SunTrap is a crime drama series following Woody, an undercover reporter framed by his corrupt editor and forced into hiding on a Spanish island. Desperate for refuge, Woody tracks down Brutus, his former mentor, who now runs a quiet beach bar and wants nothing to do with his old partner's chaos. When a local seeks Brutus's help with a dangerous problem, the two reluctantly reunite to investigate a series of interconnected crimes.
