Another Period(2015)

Another Period is a comedy series set in 1902 Newport, Rhode Island, following the wealthy but utterly useless Bellacourt family. Sisters Lillian and Beatrice, the town's most prominent socialites, obsess over their appearance, exclusive parties, and achieving fame—a surprisingly difficult task even with unlimited money. The show mines humor from the gap between their lavish lifestyle and complete lack of substance or talent. As they navigate high society's rigid expectations, their schemes to become notable figures constantly backfire. Another Period captures the absurdity of old-money privilege with sharp satire, offering a darkly comic portrait of vanity and entitlement in the Gilded Age.
