A Legend of Shaolin is a historical drama following Xu Zihao, the son of a Ming dynasty emperor and childhood friend of Xu Chao. When Xu Chao's father, a powerful official, accumulates enemies among court traitors, the corrupt Wang orchestrates a devastating frame-up, falsely accusing Xu Chao of colluding with pirates to overthrow the throne. The conspiracy destroys Xu Chao's family and forces Xu Zihao into hiding. Rescued by Shaolin monks, Xu Zihao must navigate the monastery's teachings while grappling with his fractured past and the quest for justice against those who destroyed his world.
