The King in Love is a historical drama set during Korea's Goryeo dynasty, following Crown Prince Won, a charming but ambitious ruler-in-waiting whose thirst for power masks his gentle exterior. His closest companion is Rin, a noble-born bodyguard whose loyalty runs deep. When San, the daughter of the kingdom's wealthiest merchant, enters their world, the three form an unlikely friendship.
