Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is an animated series that follows Flint Lockwood during his high school years, before he becomes the eccentric inventor of the films. The show tracks his early experiments and misadventures alongside Sam Sparks, an ambitious student journalist new to town. Flint's father Tim, his pet monkey Steve, and a colorful cast of classmates and local figures—including Manny, who runs the audiovisual club, gym teacher Earl, aspiring model Brent, and sardine-loving Mayor Shelbourne—round out his world. The series captures Flint's formative years as a budding scientist navigating teenage life, friendship, and the chaos that inevitably follows his inventions.
