U-Pick Live(2002)

U-Pick Live is a Nickelodeon series that ran from October 2002 to May 2005, broadcasting weekday afternoons from Times Square in New York City. The show let viewers vote online to decide which Nickelodeon cartoons and programs would air during each episode. Hosted by on-air personalities, U-Pick Live mixed viewer-driven scheduling with live sketches, audience participation, and celebrity appearances. The show frequently featured interviews and musical performances alongside the interactive voting element. U-Pick Live evolved from U-Pick Friday, which aired from 1999 to 2000 with hosts from KaBlam!, and traced its roots back to the Nick in the Afternoon block of 1994. After the show's cancellation, the concept of viewer-selected programming didn't resurface until The '90s Are All That revived it in 2011.
