I Picked Up a Celebrity On the Street is a Korean comedy series following Lee Yeon Seo, a contract worker who accidentally knocks out top star Kang Joon Hyuk while daydreaming about confronting her manager. Panicked and convinced she's killed him, she drags his unconscious body home to dispose of it. When Joon Hyuk wakes, he assumes he's been kidnapped by a dangerous psychopath. To prevent him from going to the police, Yeon Seo keeps him hostage in her apartment. What begins as a desperate situation spirals into an unlikely dynamic as she attempts to prove she's not a murderer while managing the chaos of hiding a famous celebrity. The series explores whether she can convince him of her innocence before her secret unravels.
