Best Interest(2019)

Best Interest is a legal drama following rookie lawyer Chen Boyun, whose youthful idealism about social justice clashes with her mentor Fang Chang's cynical pragmatism. Chen Boyun takes a position as Fang Chang's intern and personal assistant, expecting to learn from an experienced advocate. Instead, she discovers he now cherry-picks cases for quick payouts and has abandoned any emotional investment in his work. Their fundamentally opposed philosophies—her pursuit of genuine justice versus his pursuit of expedient solutions—create constant friction.
