Heavy Metal L-Gaim is a mecha series set in the Pentagona World, a solar system of five planets orbiting the twin suns. Young idealists Daba Myroad and Milau Chaon leave their remote home planet Coam seeking to change their fate, only to discover a corrupt realm ruled by the tyrant Poseidon. Across war-torn worlds, they encounter former thieves and fellow dreamers, each clash revealing deeper truths about their fractured civilization. Piloting the powerful mecha Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Daba finds himself thrust into battle against Poseidon's forces, gradually rising to lead the rebellion itself. As conflict spreads and alliances shift, the young pilot must navigate both mechanical warfare and the moral complexities of revolution in a system designed to crush hope.
