Mountains and Ocean is a Chinese drama that follows Xia Ruining, a determined student at Xiling University's Cultural Institute, as she enters the world of art restoration. When she meets brothers Ye Lin and Ye Miao—heirs to a family legacy of preserving ancient scrolls—her life becomes intertwined with theirs. A complicated relationship with Shen Zhen, the nanny's daughter, adds further tension to the group. As the four work together to restore priceless ancient paintings, romantic feelings emerge and friendships are tested.
