In Treatment(2021)

In Treatment is a French drama series set in Paris during autumn 2015. Each weekday, psychotherapist Philippe Dayan meets with four patients in his office: a surgeon wrestling with romantic turmoil, a marriage on the brink of collapse, a suicidal teenager, and others grappling with their own crises. The intimate sessions explore the fragility of the human psyche as personal struggles intensify. Then, on a November evening, terrorist attacks devastate Paris, shattering the carefully constructed therapeutic space and forcing both doctor and patients to confront trauma on an unprecedented scale. The series examines how therapy and human connection become lifelines in the aftermath of violence.
