A Small Problem is a British sitcom that aired on BBC2 in 1987, starring Christopher Ryan from The Young Ones. The show attempts satire by imagining a Britain where height-based apartheid divides society—anyone under 5ft tall is confined to tower-block ghettos south of the Thames. Despite its satirical intent, the premise proved controversial; many viewers missed the social commentary entirely, and the BBC received numerous complaints.
