Arctic Circle is a Finnish crime thriller that begins when policewoman Nina Kautsalo discovers two dead prostitutes and a survivor in a remote cabin. A rare, deadly virus found in the survivor's blood transforms the investigation into a biological crisis. When the Finnish Bureau of Investigation takes control, German virologist Thomas Lorenz arrives to help identify and contain the pathogen. Set across the frozen Arctic landscape, Nina and Thomas must work together as the case spirals into something far more complex: they're now hunting both a serial killer and a spreading epidemic. With their loved ones at risk, the pair faces an impossible choice about what matters most—stopping the virus or catching a murderer before he strikes again.
