Going Forward(2016)

Going Forward is a three-part dark comedy series following a sandwich generation couple through three pivotal days. She works as a care worker, he drives a limo—both have sacrificed their own ambitions to support aging parents and grown children. When their carefully balanced routines begin to crack, the couple must confront what they've given up and what they still want from life. The series finds dark humor in the exhaustion and resentment that builds when personal dreams are perpetually deferred. Sharp-edged and intimate, Going Forward examines the quiet desperation of middle age and the cost of always putting others first.
