Holding is a dark comedy-drama series following Sergeant PJ Collins, a gentle, reclusive police officer who spends his days avoiding people and doing the bare minimum at work. When the body of Tommy Burke, a local legend missing for years, surfaces in their small Irish village, PJ is forced to investigate his first serious crime. As he digs into the case, he unearths long-buried secrets that shake the community and pull him reluctantly into the very connections he's spent years dodging. The discovery becomes a turning point, forcing PJ to confront both the mystery and his own isolation within the tight-knit village he's tried so hard to escape.
