Monkey Life is a documentary series that follows Dr. Alison Cronin, MBE and her team at Monkey World, a primate rescue centre in Dorset. Since 2006, the show has documented the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected apes and monkeys, many rescued from the pet trade or exploited as props on Spanish beaches. The staff treat each animal's physical and psychological injuries before reintegrating them with their own kind. Monkey Life captures medical emergencies, births, relocations and difficult decisions as the team works to save primates worldwide. With exclusive access to the world's largest primate rescue centre, the series reveals the daily challenges and triumphs of dedicated conservationists committed to giving traumatised animals a second chance at life.
