Painted sun(1996)

Painted Sun is a Greek series about two lonely strangers who find unexpected solace in each other. Olga, a writer, and Stefos, a struggling taxi driver and former actor, meet on Christmas when both have been abandoned by their families. She asks him to drive without destination; they end up at the sea, share a drink at a tavern, and discover a connection that makes them feel alive again. As their bond deepens, their families—who've exploited them both—learn of the relationship and attempt to reclaim their hold. But Olga and Stefos have found something worth protecting. They refuse to let go of the warmth they've discovered in each other, even as external pressures mount. A tender story about finding light in unexpected places and choosing love over obligation.
