Philharmonia(2019)

Philharmonia is a French drama series following Hélène Barizet, a talented conductor with a controversial reputation who is appointed to lead an orchestra despite widespread objections. Given one season to prove herself and rescue the struggling ensemble, Barizet recruits Selena Riviere, a gifted young violinist, as her collaborator. The series explores the tension between artistic vision and tradition as Barizet attempts to transform the orchestra while battling institutional resistance. Her unconventional methods and desire to break from the past clash with the musicians' expectations and the management's doubts.
