Trudis Liit(2010)

Trudis Liit is a Philippine drama series produced by GMA Network as the 21st and final installment of the Sine Novela franchise, based on classic works by Mars Ravelo. The series adapts a 1963 film that starred Lolita Rodriguez and Vilma Santos, later remade in 1996 with a different cast. Trudis Liit aired from June to October 2010, following a familiar melodramatic formula that defined the Sine Novela anthology. The show found an international audience through GMA Pinoy TV starting July 2010. Strong viewership led the network to commission 45 additional episodes, extending the series run. Free Replay episodes aired in late 2011, marking the final chapter of a beloved Filipino television institution that brought literary classics to the small screen.
