The Yellow Ceiling(2022)

The Yellow Ceiling is a drama based on true events. In 2018, nine women filed a complaint against two teachers at Lleida's Theatre School for sexual abuse that occurred between 2001 and 2008, when they were students. The statute of limitations had expired, making prosecution impossible. Fear, shame, and the time needed to process their trauma had delayed their coming forward. Yet their statements, though legally too late, set in motion an unexpected path toward accountability. The film follows these women as they navigate a system that failed them, discovering that their voices—even when the law cannot act—possess a power of their own.
