The Will of God(1950)

The Will of God is a drama centered on a stepmother's cruelty and unexpected mercy. Khatijah, consumed by greed and insecurity, hires an assassin to kill her stepdaughter Fatimah while her husband is away. The plan unravels when the assassin develops sympathy for his target. Rather than commit murder, he severs Fatimah's hand and presents it to Khatijah as false proof of death. The film explores themes of compassion, deception, and moral compromise as the consequences of this dark bargain unfold.
