The Kidult Story

Run, Daddy, Run is a Russian comedy-drama following Tolya, a Siberian man who flees his responsibilities when his wife becomes pregnant. Boarding a train to escape, he encounters Kolya, a cunning homeless boy whose scheming leads to a catastrophic misunderstanding: Tolya is accused of child abduction. Now hunted by police, Tolya must assume the unlikely role of caretaker and transport Kolya across Russia to relatives in Kogalym. What begins as a desperate bid to clear his name transforms into an unexpected journey of growth and redemption. With his marriage, career, and future hanging in the balance, Tolya discovers that running from fatherhood may teach him what it truly means to be a father.
