Next Door(2024)

Next Door is a darkly comic German film that turns domestic bliss into existential dread. Tom and Marcel have just moved into their first apartment together, ready to start their life as a couple. But strange noises from the neighboring unit lead Tom to discover a connecting door—one without a key and impossible to lock. As his anxiety mounts, Marcel dismisses his concerns, determined to preserve their happiness. The nightmare deepens when Tom realizes his neighbor is Adolf Hitler, who has no intention of respecting their boundaries. Tension fractures the couple's relationship as Tom's paranoia grows and Marcel refuses to acknowledge the horror next door.
