The Bread of Love(1953)

The Bread of Love is a Swedish war film following four volunteer soldiers stranded behind enemy lines in Russia. Trapped between advancing enemy forces and treacherous minefields, they face dwindling odds of escape as winter closes in. The landscape becomes a graveyard—frozen corpses marking their path through the desolate terrain. With burnt villages and constant patrols hemming them in, survival becomes a day-to-day struggle against both the elements and the enemy.
