What do you do when you don't look like your father?

The Indian follows an eight-year-old adopted Peruvian boy living with his Dutch father, struggling with his appearance and sense of belonging. When he encounters a group of Peruvian-Indian street musicians, the chance meeting awakens something deeper within him. Rather than continuing to wish he looked like his father, the boy begins a journey to discover and embrace his own cultural roots. The film explores themes of identity and family through the eyes of a child caught between two worlds, finding connection and pride in the heritage he'd been searching for all along.
