The Aztec Box(2013)

The Aztec Box is a horror film about four college students living in a Riverside, California house who uncover an ancient Aztec sarcophagus while digging in their backyard. Two of the roommates, Nick and Darren, are film majors assigned to create a homemade reality show for class, so they've rigged the house with security cameras to document their lives. After discovering the mysterious relic, inexplicable and terrifying events begin unfolding inside the house. As the students continue filming, they're forced to confront the dark consequences of awakening something they never should have disturbed. The found-footage style captures their escalating fear as supernatural occurrences intensify, blurring the line between their class project and a genuine nightmare.
