The Tenants(2006)

The Tenants is a drama centered on Harry Lesser, a Jewish novelist battling writer's block as he desperately tries to finish his manuscript. When a Black writer moves into the apartment building, the two men develop a tense, antagonistic relationship that complicates Lesser's creative process. As their rivalry deepens, personal and artistic tensions escalate, forcing both men to confront their prejudices and ambitions. The film explores themes of artistic struggle, racial conflict, and the thin line between competition and collaboration.
