Nebenwege is a German drama about Richard Beller, an architect struggling to hold his life together. His marriage has dissolved, his relationship with his teenage daughter Marie is fractured by resentment, and his mother Hilde is showing signs of Alzheimer's disease—she's moving into a care home this weekend.
