Viajes de Esperanza is a romantic drama about Diego, an ambitious lawyer engaged to his boss's daughter, who travels to Mexico's Caribbean coast on a morally questionable mission: to seize fishermen's land for development. There he meets Mary, a hotel worker whose warmth and values challenge everything he thought mattered. As Diego grows closer to Mary and witnesses the community's deep connection to their home, he confronts the corruption at the heart of his assignment.
