Continental(1989)

Continental is a 1950s crime drama set in a port city where two former friends, Ventura and Otálora, wage a brutal battle for control of prostitution and contraband after assassinating the legendary capo Goncalves. Their rival gangs clash violently as each man seeks dominance over the underworld's most lucrative operations. Caught between them is Anabel, Ventura's favored prostitute, who pursues a passionate affair with a younger lover amid the escalating bloodshed. The film explores ambition, betrayal, and desire in a world where loyalty is currency and violence is the price of power.
