GS Wonderland(2008)

GS Wonderland is a film about Japan's 1960s Group Sounds movement, a pop phenomenon inspired by the Beatles and British rock bands of the era. Three ambitious young men form a band called The Diamonds and land a recording contract after their first rehearsal. Their trajectory shifts when their agent recruits Mick, a keyboardist played by Chiaki Kuriyama, into the group. The film captures the energy and chaos of Japan's answer to the British Invasion, following the band's unexpected journey as they navigate fame, creative differences, and the pressures of the music industry during a transformative decade.
