Tempting Fate is a science fiction film about grief and the impossible choices it can drive us to make. Ben Creed, a grieving doctor, encounters a stranger who has built a machine capable of transporting people to parallel worlds. Desperate to reunite with his deceased love Melody, Ben activates the device and crosses into an alternate dimension. There he finds another version of Melody, but she has no interest in his world or his desperate plan. As Ben navigates this strange mirror reality, he must confront whether chasing the past through impossible means can ever lead to healing, or whether some losses are meant to remain irreversible.
