El Dorado(1963)

El Dorado is a crime drama following Sherman, a young man acquitted of murder on a technicality who emerges from trial determined to leave his criminal past behind. Falling for his defence attorney's daughter, Sherman commits to abandoning his old life and severing ties with his longtime partner, Margot. Yet redemption proves harder than he bargains for. Those around him remain deeply skeptical of his transformation, and the pull of his former world threatens to derail his fresh start.
