Escápate conmigo(1987)

Escápate conmigo is a Spanish-language film following Lucerito, a 17-year-old trapped in her aunt Raymunda's gloomy castle. Raymunda, her strict tutor and guardian, makes life miserable for the teenager and pushes her toward an unwanted marriage to Don Gastón. When Lucerito spots an old friend, Manuel, hosting a television contest with a "Queen for one day" prize, she seizes the chance to escape. She sneaks away and travels to the capital to enter the competition, encountering colorful characters and unexpected adventures along the way. The film captures a young woman's bid for freedom and self-determination against the constraints of her oppressive home life.
