In Limbo(2015)

In Limbo is a documentary essay that explores how memory transforms as our lives become increasingly digitized. A mysterious spirit, voiced by Nancy Huston, awakens within vast data centers that form the backbone of the global internet. She discovers a strange afterlife populated by the architects of the digital age—internet pioneers, tech CEOs, and digital librarians—all trapped in an endless machine. As she wanders through this landscape of stored data and forgotten information, she becomes enchanted by the promises embedded in this world. The film questions what we lose and preserve when we digitize our existence, examining nostalgia and memory through the lens of our technological infrastructure. It's a haunting meditation on the ghost in the machine and what remains when the physical world fades away.
