Cream: Royal Albert Hall(2005)
Cream performed for the first time in 37 years in May 2005
Cream: Royal Albert Hall documents the legendary rock trio of Ginger Baker, Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton reuniting at London's Royal Albert Hall, the same venue where they played their supposed final show in 1968. Though the band existed for less than three years in the 1960s, they fundamentally shaped rock music with their psychedelic fusion of blues and pop, showcasing Clapton's virtuosic guitar work on classics like Fresh Cream and Wheels of Fire. After more than three decades apart, the three musicians returned for a series of four performances that proved their chemistry remained intact. The concert film captures over 20 songs including "Spoonful," "Born Under a Bad Sign," "Sunshine of Your Love," and "White Room," showcasing why Cream remains one of rock's most influential acts.
