Eleven-year-old Jasper is determined to meet his father, but his single mother Maike has a problem: she doesn't know which man is the dad. Three candidates emerge from her past—a farmer, a mechanic, and the town's former heartthrob. Maike packs up Jasper and his younger sister Luise and returns to her hometown of Füdrum, the place she fled years ago while pregnant. Back home, Grandma Inge quickly bonds with her grandson, but Maike's return stirs up old wounds and unresolved conflicts. This German comedy-drama explores family secrets, second chances, and the messy reality of parenthood as Maike confronts her past while helping her son find answers about his identity.
