The Sword with No Name is a historical drama set in colonial-era Joseon Korea. Ja-young, a princess consort trapped in the cold palace politics and at odds with her father-in-law's ideology, finds unexpected warmth when she discovers that a mysterious assassin named Mu-myeong has been protecting her. As Japanese imperial pressure mounts and Ja-young pursues dangerous diplomatic efforts to safeguard Joseon's independence, her bond with Mu-myeong becomes entangled in the turbulent currents of history.
