Village of the Giants is a 1965 sci-fi comedy about a mad inventor whose accidental creation—a mysterious goo that causes rapid growth—falls into the wrong hands. A group of rebellious teenagers steal the formula, consume it on a dare, and transform into thirty-foot giants. Using their newfound size and strength, they terrorize the small town, kidnapping the sheriff's daughter and imposing their chaotic rule through intimidation and absurdist mayhem. The film blends B-movie creature-feature tropes with campy humor and 1960s youth culture, as the townspeople scramble to stop the oversized delinquents before they cause total destruction.
