Education of Love(1961)

Education of Love is a heartwarming drama about Lin Ching Yi, a middle-class woman who reluctantly steps in as a substitute teacher for her ailing father. Her new charges—a rowdy class of working-class third graders—initially overwhelm her. As she grows closer to her students and learns about their difficult home lives, Lin's perspective shifts. She discovers unexpected purpose in teaching and begins to understand the struggles that shape her pupils.
