Tasked with tracking down a ruthless gang of claim jumpers led by Dalton and Slim, he must navigate the treacherous frontier while managing his volatile deputy, Bob Wilson—a former wrangler whose temper constantly sparks violent confrontations. The two lawmen clash repeatedly, their disputes growing so heated that the sheriff must remove his badge before each fight to avoid compromising his authority. Caught between duty and disorder, Hayden's character races to bring the criminals to justice while maintaining control of his fractious partner and the lawless town itself.
