Hail to the Rangers is a western about a retired lawman whose peaceful ranch life is disrupted when fraudulent settlers move in and force him from his own land. A corrupt newspaper publisher and a scheming gambler seize the opportunity to claim the property for themselves. When word reaches a fellow ranger, he rallies his companions to help reclaim what was stolen. Together they drive out the homesteaders and confront the two conspirators, who meet a violent end in their own conflict. The retired ranger finally reclaims his rightful home.
