Out(2017)

Out is a darkly comic odyssey following Agoston, a 50-year-old Slovak factory worker who loses his job and chases a welding opportunity in a Latvian shipyard. What begins as a desperate search for income spirals into a surreal journey across Eastern Europe, where absurd encounters and fleeting friendships strip away his possessions and certainties. Stranded and adrift, Agoston refuses to surrender—instead pivoting to an unlikely dream of catching a massive sea fish. The film captures the collision between working-class desperation and the absurdity of reinvention, tracing how a man unravels when the life he built crumbles overnight.
