Sømænd og svigermødre(1962)

Sømænd og svigermødre is a Danish comedy about a man's wedding day gone wrong. Peter arrives in Helsingør to marry Bitten, accompanied by his best man Kanusti. But his future mother-in-law makes her disapproval of him abundantly clear from the start. When Peter learns that Bitten expects them to live just three houses away from her mother, he panics and fails to show up at the altar. It takes Kanusti's quick thinking and intervention to bring the couple back together and save the wedding. A lighthearted tale of family interference, cold feet, and the lengths a best man will go to help his friend.
