Driver(2017)

Driver is a drama that follows a taxi driver navigating the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community of Bnei Barak. Each night, he takes his daughter along on his routes through the city's dark streets, where she witnesses the moral contradictions lurking beneath the surface of this deeply religious society. As they encounter the community's more unsavory characters—those whose actions clash sharply with their faith—the film explores the tension between piety and hypocrisy.
