Broadway Fever is a theatrical comedy about Sally McAllister, a stagestruck dreamer determined to break into show business. When she can't secure a meeting with the renowned producer Eric Byron, Sally takes a job as his maid—a position that puts her close to her idol but leaves her ambitions unfulfilled. Smitten but restless, Sally devises a scheme: she redirects Byron's leading lady Lila Leroy to the wrong destination, then races to New Jersey to impersonate the actress at rehearsals for Byron's latest production. Armed with a blonde wig and sheer nerve, Sally bets everything on her deception. As dress rehearsal looms, her masquerade grows riskier, and she must decide whether her scheme will lead to stardom or spectacular exposure.
