Çil Horoz(1986)

Çil Horoz is a Turkish drama following three sisters struggling to survive in a shanty town. The eldest is married; the middle sister is a widow trapped in unhappiness. When the youngest, already in a relationship, attracts the attention of Hasan, a driver living nearby, she flees his advances. But Hasan pursues her relentlessly, his intentions serious—he wants marriage. Complicating matters, her brother-in-law harasses the widowed sister whenever opportunity allows, while Hasan himself cannot abandon his attraction to her either. Caught between conflicting desires and family pressures, the sisters navigate desire, obligation, and survival in their impoverished neighborhood.
