Walk on the Wild Side is a 1930s drama set in a New Orleans bordello where Hallie works as the house's main attraction. When Dove Linkhorn, her former sweetheart from three years prior, arrives unexpectedly in the city, he disrupts the carefully maintained order of the establishment. His arrival sets off a chain of events that entangles the madam, Hallie, and the young woman who travelled with him—now employed at the bordello herself. As tensions rise and old feelings resurface, the lives of everyone connected to the house become increasingly complicated, leading to conflict between desire, loyalty, and survival in the shadowy world of 1930s New Orleans.
