Dear Goddamned Friends(1994)

Dear Goddamned Friends is a 1944-set Italian drama following a group of boxers who stage rigged matches to survive and move freely across war-torn Tuscany. As fascism crumbles and Allied forces advance, the fighters scheme to earn money and passage out of their devastated region. Their makeshift crew includes a missing Black American soldier and a young woman fleeing an arranged marriage—outsiders bound together by desperation and circumstance.
